Jiggity Jog
For infants-4yrs

May 6-June 10, Tuesdays,
10:30-11:15am at 69A Mountain St. Studio.
A creative music class for children and parents that combines movement and singing to develop music skills of rhythm and tonality.
Fee: $60 or $10 drop-in. Siblings half price ($30 per session or $5 drop-in)
Instructor: Susan Reit de Salas, She completed the Center for Music and Young Children's "Music Together" training where she developed the popular Jiggity Jog class.


Ballet Fundamentals: Creative Expression
Ages 7-9 only please!

Aug. 4,6,8,11,13,15 from 9-11am at
69A Mountain St. Studio.
This class will focus on ballet fundamentals, while exploring creative expression and music appreciation (Classical, hip-hop, Jazz, African and more) with an emphasis on strength building and fun. Bring a water bottle & a snack.
Fee: $80 for both weeks
Instructor: Jennifer Forrest has been studying dance for more than 20 years. Styles include ballet, modern, African, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and tap. We are thrilled to have her teach!


Modern Ballet Intensive Workshop
Teens & Adults

Aug. 4,6,7,11,13,14 at Bristol Fitness.
Monday & Wednesday classes at 6:30-7:45pm.
Thursday classes at 4:45-6pm.
Come back to the barre or begin to explore ballet technique in a relaxed and playful environment. We will focus on classical ballet elements and barre work for strength and core building exercises for center work, while we play with choreography and free expression.
Fee: $60

Scottish Highland Dance

Learn the solo dances of Scotland Highland Fling, Sword Dance, Reels & more From the Lillie School of Highland Dance.
Fee: $60/sess Family discount $8 for ea. additional sibling
Instructor: Mary B. Lillie has been certified to teach
Scottish Highland Dance for over 20 years.

Mountain Kenpo Camp

July 7-11, 9am- Noon
at the Bristol Recreation Field.
Discover the secret to instilling confidence, character, focus, self-control and discipline in this week long camp!  Students will learn self discipline, respecting yourself and others, street awareness and morel. Wear loose clothing. Bring a water bottle and a snack.

Mountain Kenpo Martial Arts
Ages 6-11, 5-6pm
Ages 12 and Up, 6:30-7:30pm at Holley Hall.

Learn self discipline, respecting yourself and others, street awareness, etc. Focus will be on self defense techniqueskicking, punching, footwork, jumping, locks, escapes, and distance control. Wear loose clothing.

Bristol Boot Camp

If improved health through consistent exercise and healthy eating is a goal of yours then, "Bristol Boot Camp " is the right class for you. This is a group motivated exercise class that incorporates aerobic strength, flexibility and also includes a nutrition seminar.
Fee: $75 (includes A FREE 6 week membership to Bristol Fitness. This class is co-sponsored by Bristol Recreation and the Vermont Dept. of Health.
First timers only please!
Instructors: Deirdra and Kim Jacobs- both are certified
personal trainers and instructors for Bristol Health & Fitness.


Summer Gymnastics Camps
July 7-11 at the Bristol Elementary Gym.
Preschool Age (3 1/2 -5)
Class # 2235 9-10am or Class #2236 10-11am
Your preschooler will develop gross motor skills, flexibility & strength while having fun learning basic gymnastics skills on various equipment such as: balance beam, vault, uneven bars, rope & tumbling. Fee: $60


Class# 2237 School Age (6 and up)
11:30-1:30pm Fee: $100
This two hour intensive class is designed for all ability levels.  Throughout the week your child will be introduced to and further develop a progression of gymnastics skills on balance beam, vault, uneven bars, rope & tumbling mats. A great class for the beginner or advanced gymnast as students will be grouped by ability and previous experience.
Instructor: Amy Mayer, who has over 18 years experience teaching recreational & competitive gymnastics.
She also has coached for the Middlebury High School Gymnastics Team.


Yoga for Kids
Grades 3-5
Class # 2194
May 5-June 16, Mondays, 4:30-5:15pm
(no class 5/26) at 69A Mountain St. Studio.
In this class, students will learn to focus their minds and center while improving strength, flexibility and coordination all at the same time. Classes include postures, beginning flowing sequences, partner work, breathing and relaxation exercises.
Fee: $60
Instructor: Alicia Kurth has taught kids in various capacities for over 15 years. She is trained by Child Light Yoga.
