Young Rembrandts Drawing
Ages 6-12

May 6- June 3, Tuesday from
3:05- 4:15pm at Bristol Elementary School.
Get ready to draw amazing things together! Young Rembrandts' innovative, step-by-step drawing method can teach any child how to draw - regardless of artistic ability, giving them skills to express their creativity that will last a lifetime. We provide all materials and brand new subject matter every week, ranging from animals, landscapes, still life's, even art history. Our philosophy is to give children a very
positive, nurturing environment as we teach fundamental drawing techniques. 45- 55 minute classes, and you will see increased ability, self confidence and self-esteem.
Fee: $65


Young Rembrandts Castle Camp & Anime Cartoon Camp

July 28-Aug. 1, 8:30am-Noon at Howden Hall.
The Castle Camp is brand new for 2008 and is all about medieval times, knights and dragons, jesters, jugglers, and catapults, etc. Boys and girls alike will love this camp!  The Anime Camp has all new drawings for 2008 and will teach children to draw their own original anime characters using exaggerated expressions and action and movement.
Fee: $120

Color & Form: Designing on 2-D Surface
Teens & Adults

July 28-31, Mon.- Thurs., 7-9pm at Howden Hall.
This is a four day workshop that will focus on exploring the ideas and formal aspects of abstraction and color theory. Class will include many projects oriented
towards understanding the formal aspects of 2D design and how to apply it creatively.
Fee: $80 (includes materials)
Instructor: We are excited to have Kit Donnelly, a local artist working and exhibiting for over 20 years, with a formal education in abstraction and color.


Teen Drawing
Class # 2202
May 6-June 10, Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm at Howden Hall.
This class is geared to teens and focuses on basic drawing techniques. Weather permitting , we will go out side for landscapes Otherwise we will concentrate on still life and some figures.
Fee: $60 plus $15 for materials

Fairies & Gnomes Art Camp
Ages 6-9

Aug. 4-8,  9am--Noon at Howden Hall
Enjoy this fun & relaxed camp.  You can do anything from designing fairy and gnome landscapes to creating your own fairy or gnome. Explore using objects from nature in your  creations and other art mediums to enhance your project.
Fee:  $50 plus $10 for materials
Instructor:  Jen Kane,  local artist and teacher who enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills with children.
