Thursdays, 6:30pm at the Federated Church

Participants will be taken into a hypnotic trance to change the

belief that they want to smoke, and release that urge with

both physical and psychological replacements.

Fee: $25 per class (Includes a CD) This class is

co-sponsored by the Addison County Anti-Tobacco Coalition.

Phoenix Rising Yoga is a holistic healing approach that helps

you deal with stress related issues. You can't change the

stress, but this helps you change the way you relate to it. Basic

yoga postures, breath awareness and non-directive dialogue

are combined within a group setting. No previous experience

is necessary. Fee: $100 for 8 wks

Instructor: Mary Ann Rueger is a certified Phoenix Rising

Yoga Therapy Instructor. She has been teaching Hatha Yoga

to teachers at Mt. Abe for 3 years.

Beginning Tai Chi Chuan

A unique and artful blend of gentle calisthenics and thoughtful

meditation; Tai Chi offers a highly effective method for

simultaneously conditioning the body and pacifying the mind.

All ages and levels of bodily awareness are welcome.

Fee: $65 per session Instructor: Chris Keily operates the

Green Mountain Tai Chi School for the past 8 years. He has a

master’s in Oriental Medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist

practicing in Bristol.

Learn CPR & first aid for choking adults & children over 1 year in age. Very hands on class. Dress comfortably. Fee: $45

Learn basic skills & knowledge necessary to recognize and provide care for injuries and sudden illness for those 1 year through 16 years until care arrives. This class includes a certification card.

American Heart First Aid for Adults

April 20, 6:30-9pm at the Bristol Rescue Squad Station

Learn basic skills necessary to recognize and provide care for injuries and sudden illness until care arrives. A certification

card will be issued upon completion of the course.

" Zumba" is a high energy fitness dance with fun, easy- tolearn

dance moves and a variety of music that includes salsa,

hip hop, merengue, mambo, pop, cha cha, samba, reggaeton,

cumbia, reggae, belly dance and more! This fusion of musical

rhythms and dynamic moves is fun to dance to and also creates

and exciting, motivating workout. From beginners to

those with dance experience, this class is for everyone!

Fee: $50 adults, $40 students, $10 drop- in , Family

Instructor: Lindsey Hescock is a well

known Zumba instructor for regularly

scheduled classes and special programs.

She has experience with a variety of

styles of dance, creative movement and

visual arts.

A creative music class for children and parents that combines

singing and movement to develop music skills of rhythm and

tonality. Fee: $50 per session $10 drop-in fee.

(Siblings are 1/2 price) Instructor: Susan Salas has been

teaching music in Vermont for 8 years. Besides her Jiggity

Jog group class, she gives harp & recorder lessons and

performs locally.
