What would it be like to make a fire without matches? How would it feel to make a fort you could live in? What is it like surviving in the woods without anything? We will find out, in this week long adventure survival camp. Be ready to make forts, play, track, craft and on Thursday there will be an overnight where you will spend a whole night out playing night sneaking games and sitting by the camp fire.
(Any past campers who have gone beyond that age limit are invited to come and join us.)

Rays River Camp- Class # 2930
Ages 9-13

Location: Sycamore Park
A week of fun and games along the beautiful New Haven River. This camp offers hiking, swimming, tubing, crafts & more! Participants should be willing to do it all. A great deal of time is spent in and around water. Ability to swim is strongly suggested. A letter will be sent home a week prior to camp with information about the week’s activities and what to bring. Fee:$150.00 Instructor: Ray Beaver, avid fisherman & outdoorsman. Ray works at Spectrum Youth & Family Services.
Extreme Outdoor Adventure Camp Class # 2896 (weeklong) Ages: Grades 6 - 9

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
You may choose 1 or more of these day camps at $50.00 per day or take them all for $150.00. Please use the class number for each day that you will participate or Class # 2896 for all.
Tuesday Hiking Day Class # 2926
We are going to hit the trail and challenge ourselves to a hike up Mount Abe and back. Going up the trail from the Lincoln Gap Road to the top and then down the other side. We will be coming down the Jerusalem trail. Anyone is welcome, the fast or the easier paced. Join us to get a chance to see the views & take some time to think and get away from it all. We will be providing the trail mix.
Wednesday Ninja Day Class # 2927
Discover the ancient secrets of the Ninja through sneaking, self defense and adventure. Starting
at Bristol Memorial Park we will give the low down on sneak walking, camouflage and basic self defense moves as we explore the parks canyon and waterfall. From there we will head down river to play ninjitsu games of invisibility and stealth, All the while having a blast.
Thursday Rafting Day Class # 2928
Hot summer sun and the river go hand and hand. Come on an awesome rafting adventure with us. Either down the New Haven River or the Otter Creek. We will spend the day exploring, swimming and paddling down river. Ending with some small rapids and a little bit of a thrill.
Friday Survival Day Class # 2929
Learn what the techniques of Man vs Wild, Survivor Man and Dual Survival are. How can you make fire without matches? Hunt your own food with just a stick. Sleep the night without a sleeping bag. Come on this day long adventure into the woods and the wild and learn what it means to survive.
Fee: $150.00 for the week or $50.00 per day
