The Bristol Clay Studio is located in Artist’s Alley next to Art on Main.

All Clay Classes are held at the Bristol Clay Studio located in Artist’s Alley next to Art on Main. We are delighted

to have Matlak Mayforth, our Potter in residence now for over 7 years, teach all of our classes.

She is self- taught and has displayed her work all over the world.

Book Your Birthday Parties at the Clay Studio!

Bring your birthday guests to the studio for 1 1/2 hours of memorable clay fun. You and your friends will be given instruction and materials to allow the creation of a lasting piece of art. Party days are: Mondays and Fridays after 3:30 pm & Sunday afternoons.

Max. 10 guests, Fee: $50 plus $10 per student, Call 453-5885 to schedule.

Note: If the after school time does not fit in your schedule, it is possible to switch it to the other day offered.

After School Clay

3:15-4:45pm Fee: $54 per session

Student may choose to explore making functional

or non-functional objects of clay using a variety of

hand building techniques or throwing on the

wheel. Glazing techniques and all materials included in fee.

Tuesdays, Grades: 1-3

Wednesdays, 6-8pm Fee: $90

(Includes all materials)

Note: Free open studio time on Saturdays, 9-11am

Kinder/ Preschool Clay Ages 3-5

Saturdays, 9:30-10:30am Fee: $48

New Haven Pottery on Wheels
