We are pleased to announce that we will be offering garden plots to the community for anyone that wants to garden but does not have a place to do it. Martin Clark, owner of Martin’s Hardware has graciously donated the use of his big empty lot behind Martin’s Hardware located on Liberty St. and West Pleasant St. Several Master Gardeners- Jane Moulton, Becky Adams, Erin Buckwalter and Mattie MacGregor have volunteered and will available certain days of the week for folks that need help.
The raised garden plots will be designed 4’ x 30’ and cost $25 each for the entire summer.

Class graduates will leave the hunter education courses with a thorough understanding of how to get a lifetime enjoyment from Vermont's magnificent natural resources. Topics covered
include:
* Introduction to Hunter Education
(History, Purpose and sponsors)
* Firearms and Hunting Safety
* Hunter Responsibility
* Personal Preparedness
* Wildlife Conservation
* Hunting Opportunities
* Specialty Hunting
Practical instruction includes shooting on the last day.
Fee: Free!
Instructor: Barb Prime, teaching Hunter's Safety for over 30 years.
Mt. Abe Youth Soccer
Is looking for volunteer coaches for ages years - 6th grade.
This is a four week program that serves kids in the five town area.
